Dr. Wilhelm completed his medical school training at Ohio State University, graduating with honors, and received his pediatric residency training at Ohio State University and the Children's Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. He has been practicing pediatrics in Port Huron since 1966, and was instrumental in developing the Special Care Nursery at Port Huron Hospital for the care of ill newborns and prematures. He is Board ceritified by the American Board of Pediatrics.
