Neurology

Neurology is the branch of medicine concerned with the study and treatment of individuals with diseases of the brain and nervous system. Our specialty is concerned with the quick and accurate diagnosis and treatment of Headaches, Seizure, Stroke, Sleep Disorders, Multiple Sclerosis, Peripheral Neuropathy, Carpal Tunnel Syndrome, Fibromyalgia and Back Pain. We offer on site; state of the art diagnostic testing in: EEG, EMG, VEP, and BAER.


Demian Ibrahim Naguib, M.D.

Dr. Demian Naguib M.D., Ph.D., is a board certified neurologist specializing in Neurology, Sleep Disorders, and Multiple Sclerosis. Dr. Naguib graduated medical school in Cairo and did his internship in Ain Shams University. He then transferred to the United States to finish his neurology residencies at Sinai-Grace Hospital, Wayne State University, and Louisiana State University, Providence Hospital, Washington DC. These residencies included Neurology, Internal Medicine and Ophthalmology. Dr. Naguib is currently affiliated with Port Huron Hospital, St. Joseph Mercy Hospital, and St. John River District Hospital.

Marwan I. Shuayto, M.D.

Dr. Shuayto attended the University of Michigan-Dearborn for his undergraduate studies. He then completed his Master of Science degree in Hyperbaric Medicine at Saba University. Dr. Shuayto graduated from the University of St. Eustatius School of Medicine with a Doctor of Medicine degree in 2002. He did his internship in Internal Medicine and Residency in Neurology at the University of South Alabama Hospital. He sees patients with all neurological complaints, but has special interests in Pain Management, Epilepsy, Neuromuscular Disorders, and Sleep Medicine. Dr. Shuayto is on staff at all three area hospitals.
